Kai for RevOps
Everything you need to get Kai set up, configured, and running correctly. From API keys and sending infrastructure through to campaign setup, token wiring, and ongoing settings. Nine articles, about 50 minutes total.
Phase 1 -- Foundation
1
API connections
Connect Claude, Lemlist, Firecrawl, and HubSpot. Where the keys go, how to verify each connection is working, and what breaks if a key is wrong or missing.
→
2
Sending infrastructure
Sending subdomains, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, inbox warm-up, and safe volume limits. What must be in place before live campaigns can start, and what breaks deliverability when it is not.
→
Phase 2 -- Campaign setup
3
Creating a campaign
Campaign types, the creation form, how to connect a Lemlist campaign ID, and how to pull the sequence steps that define what Kai writes.
→
4
Connecting tokens in Lemlist
The one-time setup that wires Kai's personalised content into your Lemlist sequence steps. What goes where, why the body field must contain only the token, and how to verify it worked.
→
Phase 3 -- Configuration
5
Persona focus
How to define the above-the-line and below-the-line personas Kai uses for ABM discovery and 24/7 sourcing. What a strong persona description looks like versus a weak one.
→
6
ICP briefs
What to put in a vertical ICP brief, how Kai uses it when writing sequences and scoring sourcing candidates, and where to find it in Settings.
→
7
Call methodology
How to configure the call brief structure Kai uses for every contact with a call step. How the brief connects to HubSpot tasks and what the rep sees.
→
Phase 4 -- Running the pipeline
8
Uploading contacts
CSV column requirements, how the column mapper works, and how to include intent data from enrichment tools like Clay or Apollo so Kai uses those signals when writing sequences.
→
9
Pushing to Lemlist
What happens during a push step by step, how to verify variables populated correctly in Lemlist, and how to diagnose and fix the most common push failures.
→
Once you have finished this path
Create your first campaign, pull the Lemlist steps, wire the tokens, and upload one test contact. Run it through the full pipeline: research, generate, approve, push. Check the contact in Lemlist to confirm personalisation came through. If it looks right, run the full list.
