24/7 campaigns
A 24/7 campaign runs continuously. You describe the companies and roles you want to reach, and Kai sources new contacts on a four-hour cycle, researches them, writes sequences, and queues them for your approval. No manual uploads required.
When to use 24/7
24/7 is for sustained outreach where you want a constant flow of new contacts matching a defined profile. It is best used when you have a clear ICP and want Kai to keep the pipeline topped up between Seasonal pushes, or as your primary motion for a vertical you are always prospecting into.
The ICP brief
Instead of a contact list, you provide an ICP brief: a description of the companies and roles you want Kai to find. The brief lives in the campaign settings and tells Kai what to look for when sourcing from Lemlist's B2B database.
A good ICP brief describes:
- Company size range (employees or revenue)
- Industry or sub-vertical
- Technologies or behaviours that indicate fit
- The specific roles you want to reach and what they are responsible for
- What a good account looks like versus a bad one
Sourcing and the saturation gate
Every four hours, Kai runs a sourcing pass against the ICP brief. It finds new contacts, scores them against the brief using Claude, and adds the best matches to the approval queue.
The saturation gate prevents the queue from growing faster than you can review it. The default threshold is 50 pending approvals. When the queue reaches that number, sourcing pauses automatically until you approve enough contacts to drop below it. You can adjust the threshold or turn it off entirely in the campaign settings.
Pause, resume, and Source Now
From the campaign view you can:
- Pause the campaign to stop sourcing without losing any configuration
- Resume to restart sourcing on the four-hour cycle
- Source Now to trigger an immediate sourcing run outside the normal schedule, useful when you have just approved a large batch and want to refill the queue quickly
Weekly target
You can set a weekly target: the number of new contacts you want sourced per week. Kai distributes sourcing runs throughout the week to hit that target rather than sourcing as many contacts as possible as fast as possible. This gives you a predictable, controllable flow rather than bursts.
